I build things for the fun of it. Started out running game servers, which taught me more about Linux, networking and keeping other people's evenings from being ruined than any course would have.
These days it's 3D printing and writing software. I'm not a professional developer — I'm someone who enjoys the problem and finishes the thing, and I'd rather do six things properly than one thing perfectly.
What I tinker with
Game servers
Where it started. Minecraft, Project Zomboid, BeamMP — provisioning, mod pinning, backups, and the unglamorous business of keeping them up.
3D printing
Design, slice, print, and quite a lot of learning why the first attempt warped. Currently running an Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2.
Software
Self-hosted web apps, small tools, and the odd Discord bot. Mostly TypeScript, mostly for problems I actually have.
